It has been QUITE a weekend.

I’m so grateful right now for the fine emergency personnel of Knoxville, TN, and the fine emergency staff at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center. I’m so grateful for solid cars and kind people who stop to help. I’m SO grateful that prayers are answered, that kids are resilient, and that we can have a sense of humor in the face of sadness and worry.
My brother and his family were in a car accident driving to a birthday party in Knoxville on Friday evening. All is well and everyone was safe. It’s pretty amazing and we’re all overwhelmed, I think. I know I am.
